Bamboo Park and Rubber Park Inauguration Ceremony, Tripura
On 27 Jan 2012 Mr. Manik Sarkar, Chief Minister - Tripura laid the foundation stone for India’s first Bamboo Park in Radhakishore Nagar, Tripura. Mr. Sarkar also inaugurated the second Rubber Park in India. The Bamboo Park has been set up by the Ministry of Commerce under Assistance to State for Infrastructure Development for Export and Allied Activities (ASIDE) Scheme to promote bamboo based industries in the country.
IL&FS Education has been appointed as the PMA for the park by the Ministry.

Parivartan Mobile Health Clinic, Jharkhand
On 29th March 2012, IL&FS Transportation Networks Limited launched Parivartan Mobile Health Clinic at village Morpa in Jharkhand as a part of its CSR initiative. The van was officially launched by Dr. Dilip Kumar Singh - Civil Surgeon. IL&FS Education has been appointed as the implementing and project management agency of this initiative. Staffed by a para-medic and a MBBS doctor, the van will provide community easy access to quality health services and complement the primary healthcare facilities of the Government with secondary public health care.

IL&FS Clusters Pappadum Cluster Training Programme
As part of its project - "Strengthening Women’s Social, Economic and Political Empowerment in Jaunpur, Mirzapur and Sant Ravidas Nagar of Uttar Pradesh", UNDP has reached out to a number of women SHG members in the region. In the next phase, the program seeks to reach out to more rural poor women, and develop their grassroots level organizations that are commercially successful and independent. IL&FS Cluster Development Initiative has been engaged in developing the Pappadum Cluster in the region, by engaging more women in the production of pappadum, organizing them into SGHs and building their capacities.
