IL&FS showcases Kalakaris of India

The event was inaugurated by Smt. Sukhda Pandey, Minister of Art and Culture, Bihar and Mr. Awadhes Narayan Singh, Ex-minister Bihar graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Eleven stalls allotted to IL&FS, displayed handloom sarees and dress materials and handicrafts from Bihar and neighbouring states. A separate stall was also set up under the flagship of IL&FS Skills School in order to promote the employment opportunities for the BPL families in Bihar.
IL&FS has been actively involved as implementing agency for the Handlooms in Bihar and has been regularly organising such events to promote the handloom clusters. Some of the handloom clusters, which participated in the exhibition, are Katoria, Nathnagar, Dumrama, Kharik Bazar and Akhorigola
