Placement Linked Skills Training for Youth
IL&FS Education delivers intensive programmes to create gainful employment opportunities for rural below poverty line (BPL) youth. We provide the Skills PRogram for INclusive Growth (SPRING) that specifically caters to such requirements.
The SPRING programme is a unique public private partnership (PPP) based programme that:
- Creates training aligned to specific skill requirements of industries
- Enables poverty alleviation by creating employment opportunities through employment linked skill upgradation
Our unique skill delivery process begins with identification job opportunities and ends with the placement of trained youth in various manufacturing industries like textiles, leather, engineering, construction and services sector industry
Under SPRING we offer a number of development programmes for the rural and urban BPL youth that caters to specific industry requirements:
- Skills for Employment in Apparel Manufacturing (SEAM)
- Skills for Employment in Leather Fabrication (SELF)
- Skills for Employment in Service Sector (SESS)
- Skills Training for Engineering and Production Systems (STEPS)
- Skill for Construction & Road Engineers (SCORE)
IL&FS Education has successfully trained and placed more than one lakh youth across the apparel, leather, service sector, engineering, and construction industries
